Kageyo: Parents complain over long distance schools for children
Some Tanzania evictees in Kageyo cell, Mwili sector in Kayonza district have requested the concerned authorities to make it possible for secondary students’ access education nearby.
This is because secondary school students among the evictees stopped attending school due to long distances towards schools.
“We have a problem of secondary school students who make long distances to access school. Some have failed and stayed home expect for the few who can manage to rent or stay with other people near the school,” one of the evictees told the www.thebasic12.com
Most schools in Mwili sector are in 9year and 12year basic education system, but are located at distant places compared to where Tanzania evictees are settled.
