During a meeting in Nyamasheke district that brought together the district leaders, the principals from the different Primary and Secondary schools, and the students, a conclusion was made of improving on education in the district and therefore make it valuable.
Speaking to the people present, the mayor of the district Jean Baptiste Habyarimana said that the value of education in the district must be reached no matter what, calling on people responsible to participate.
This meeting was aimed at reviewing the past years performance and how far the district is now which will help it improve more in education.
The district however is still grateful for the efforts put in this sector depending on the performance from the last year’s examinations, which saw many of the principals happy with their school’s performance though with no results yet.
With this therefore Habyarimana advised the school leaders to work hard to see that education in this district is given the required value.
The sectors requested to look more in education here are Rangiro and Cyato which were advised to work hard and improve on the value of education.
