The District of Rusizi has appreciated the work done in improving on education in the year 2012 which was not the same as the past years.

This was during a meeting last week on the 15/02/2013 which brought together heads of schools in the district who were again called upon to find more different ways that can help their schools perform even better.

The sector of Bugarama which has been in the first place in school performance for the past four years said that the idea behind this was hard work and doing revision for the students in primary schools.

“For Butare sector with children who do not like going to school, different strategies were developed to help the children and therefore improve on performance”, said Jonathan Iman the director of education in the sector.

However, the director of education in Rusizi district Jean Pierre Nteziyaremye was still grateful for the improved performance in 2012 compared to the past years.

He added on saying that parents have known the need of taking their children to school hence a big contribution to better performance.

About 36% children are now in different well performing schools in the country because of the different strategies developed in improving on performance.
