Nyabihu: teachers urged to be conversant with English language

Instructing in English language is good as it helps students get the diversity of languages but a lot is left to be desired and teachers have to be trained for them to do better argued parents in Nyabihu district.

With the rate of development that Rwanda is on, children need to be set to move along while preparing for their future. It is the best for Rwanda to instruct its children in English as the main language in the world for them to move along with the Rwandan vision towards development but it should be done in the very best way.

teachers urgedParents in Nyabihu district appreciate this turn of events of having their children get education through English as a medium of instruction mainly because Rwanda is now a member stare of the East African Community. Having Rwandan understand English will enable them to compete on the International Employment Market all over East Africa and anywhere in the world.

English for sure will impact children who will be the future of Rwanda towards development of them as individuals and also of their country.

Though this is well understandable by the parents in Nyabihu district, these parents have a cause to worry as most of the English teachers are francophone and do not understand English better. Some do not understand so well what they teach to their students due to language barrier and students do not understand what they are taught.

Parents in Nyabihu district say supporting teachers are needed or training to teachers on English language for teachers and students to move along with Rwandan vision and attain development all through good and quality education to all for their childre3n to be able to compete with others on the international market of employment.
