Kirehe: classrooms, teachers quarters almost completed

Teachers’ quarters and classrooms in Kirehe District are almost completed in construction and this will increase the quality of education provided and give teachers security and reduce the distance to schools said Telesphore Hatsindintwari the education officer in Kirehe district.
About 46 class rooms under construction are completed on 95percent in all over the district, the 12 teachers quarters are at 82percent under construction to completion, and 104 toilets which are completed at 78percent
“The only limitation to complete teacher’s quarters, classrooms and toilets is local people who do not pay their contribution fees on time to finish these constructions” explained the education officer.
Kirehe district as well as elsewhere in Rwanda, teachers’ quarters are being constructed as a way of making teachers more secure, stable, near schools, giving them good social life so as to provide quality education to Rwandans.
Kirehe district is promoting education to all, encouraging street kids and school dropouts to go back to school where 1368 school dropouts are now back in schools.
