A group of 20 Christian Students from the Anglican church of Rwanda in JILL Balham School in Rusizi District with their discipline teacher did an act of love when visited 12 helpless patients with no families in Gihundwe hospital, gave them clothes, food especially fruits, shoes, soaps and above all prayers.

These students had the charity work on 26 0ctober 2012, a date that restored hope to these patients. They taught them about the word of God and prayed for them. Patients in this hospital from different sectors of Rusizi and Nyamasheke districts appreciated the kind deed of these students since most of them are homeless and others have no family members to visit them.

Ms. Consessa KABAGWIRA a school discipline teacher who came in company of these students said that students thought of this act due to their loving and kind hearts. She said that Rwandans should know that a kind heart and love can provide comfort to a patient more than possessions.

The hospital administration was delighted by this gesture which showed that these students had good education. This hospital normally has such kind of patients who have no families to take care of them and are supported by the hospital stuff as Dr. Placide Nshizirungu the director of the hospital explained.

This group of students said that this is not the end of their deeds and they will be stretching a helping hand whenever they can and with the support of their school administration. JILL Balham School has 594 students and 504 of them are girls and 90 are boys.
