Rwanda | Gakenke: 12YBE classrooms to be complete early December

Jean Bosco Hakizimana, in charge of education in Gakenke district has revealed that 12YBE classrooms will be complete in December 2012.
12 Year Basic Education classrooms are being built in 19 sectors of Gakenke district. So far, Mugunga, Cyabingo, Muhondo and Muzo sectors have reached the lintel level and will soon be roofing, he explains.
Hakizimana adds that the building activities will be quick since building materials were put in place on October 15th 2012.
On October 8th 2012, when Gakenke district authorities toured the construction activities at Gatonde 12YBE School, the executive secretary of Mugunga sector confirmed that they will be through very soon.
However, some sectors are soon completing classroom building while others are laying the foundations.
Gakenke district plans to build 64 classrooms, 120 toilets and 19 staff quarters.
