School heads receiving computers on behalf of UNESCO clubs

The National Unesco Commission has donated computers to fifteen schools with UNESCO clubs to help them in the easy execution of their work.

The event took place in Remera at the Commission’s offices where the heads of the fifteen schools received the donation.

Speaking at the event Eliphaz Bahizi the executive secretary of the national UNESCO Commission said that the major objectives of the UNESCO clubs are spreading the ideas of UNESCO, calling upon members and other people to respect human rights, teaching the members to love their country and democracy. 

The commission has given out the donation after the clubs requesting to have the computers for effective execution of their work.

Bahizi promised to continue supporting the clubs whenever they are able so that their work goes well.

He requested those who received the computers to handle them with care. The recipients said that the donation is a big boost which will enhance communication between themselves and the world at large.
